Configuring chunking and encryption for a git remote has no effect, so skip testing those variants in the TestRemote call. It would be better if TestRemote itself could do this, but it doesn't seem possible there. There is no way to look at a Remote and tell if it supports chunking or encryption. Note that, while the test suite displays output as it it's testing exporting, it actually skips doing anything for the tests when run on the git remote. git-annex allows managing files with git, without checking the file contents into git. While that may seem paradoxical, it is useful when dealing with files larger than git can currently easily handle, whether due to limitations in memory, checksumming time, or disk space.
