I don't really understand the security argument: why would youtube-dl be secure with global arguments and not per-file arguments? What does it mean for youtube-dl to be secure? And if it is indeed insecure for local arguments only, would it be possible to implement two differents global config, one for audio, one for video, and let the user specify in the command which config he wants?
