I am trying to [follow the instructions](https://git-annex.branchable.com/tips/fully_encrypted_git_repositories_with_gcrypt/). I can create a gcrypt repo and push it with no problems. I don't seem to be able to use it as a special remote, however.
In this output, `rsync://pat.rsync:encrypted.git` is an encrypted repo that I've already pushed. I've also tried initing a bare git repo, per the instructions.

From [`git-annex-gcrypt`](https://git-annex.branchable.com/special_remotes/gcrypt/):
> For git-annex to store files in a repository on a remote server, you need shell access, and it needs to be able to run `rsync` or `git-annex-shell`.
rsync.net doesn't provide `git-annex-shell`, but they do provide `rsync`. So based on my reading of the docs, I think it should work.
