I had assumed that [[`git-annex-sync --content`|git-annex-sync]], if it succeeds, guarantees that there are no broken symlinks to the annex. But there is one circumstance when that's not true: if some of the files exist only on remotes that have not yet been enabled. This still holds under `git annex required here anything`.
|
||||

This could of course be avoided with `autoenable=true`, but this doesn't work for [[external special remotes|special_remotes/external]]. [[todo/dockerized_external_special_remotes]], if doable, would address this.
