Right now, the builder is only useful for building the template rpm. Using it to generate a chroot for usage by qubes-builder has not been implemented yet, and anyways the APKBUILDs have not been upstreamed. Once they are upstreamed, and chroot builder implemented and tested, anyone can build the whole package set and RPM.
