46e5f40176 ipv6: add a flag to get the flow label used remotly
This information is already available via IPV6_FLOWINFO
of IPV6_2292PKTOPTIONS, and them a filtering to get the flow label
information. But it is probably logical and easier for users to add this
here, and to control both sent/received flow label values with the
IPV6_FLOWLABEL_MGR option.

df3687ffc6 ipv6: add the IPV6_FL_F_REFLECT flag to IPV6_FL_A_GET
With this option, the socket will reply with the flow label value read
on received packets.

The goal is to have a connection with the same flow label in both
direction of the communication.

 * Do not erase the flow label on the listening socket. Use pktopts to
 store the received value

fcd46b3442 firewire: Enable remote DMA above 4 GB
This makes all of a machine's memory accessible to remote debugging via
FireWire, using the physical response unit (i.e. RDMA) of OHCI-1394 link
layer controllers.

This requires actual support by the controller.  The only ones currently
known to support it are Agere/LSI FW643.  Most if not all other OHCI-1394
controllers do not implement the optional Physical Upper Bound register.
With them, RDMA will continue to be limited to the lowermost 4 GB.

firewire-ohci's startup message in the kernel log is augmented to tell
whether the controller does expose more than 4 GB to RDMA.

While OHCI-1394 allows for a maximum Physical Upper Bound of
0xffff'0000'0000 (near 256 TB), this implementation sets it to
0x8000'0000'0000 (128 TB) in order to avoid interference with applications
that require interrupt-served asynchronous request reception at
respectively low addresses.

Note, this change does not switch remote DMA on.  It only increases the
range of remote access to all memory (instead of just 4 GB) whenever
remote DMA was switched on by other means.  The latter is achieved by
setting firewire-ohci's remote_dma parameter, or if the physical DMA
filter is opened through firewire-sbp2.

ed4c54e5b4 IB/core: Resolve Ethernet L2 addresses when modifying QP
Existing user space applications provide only IBoE L3 address
attributes to the kernel when they issue a modify QP modify.  To work
with them and let such apps (plus kernel consumers which don't use the
RDMA-CM) keep working transparently under the IBoE GID IP addressing
changes, add an Eth L2 address resolution helper.

37721d8501 RDMA/ocrdma: Populate GID table with IP based gids
This patch is similar in spirit to the "IB/mlx4: Use IBoE (RoCE) IP
based GIDs in the port GID table" patch.

Changes to inet4 and inet6 addresses for the host are monitored and if
the address is associated with an ocrdma device then a gid is added or
deleted from the device's gid table. The gid format will be a IPv4 to
IPv6 mapped or the IPv6 address.

40aca6ffca RDMA/ocrdma: Handle Ethernet L2 parameters for IP based GID addressing
This patch is similar in spirit to the "IB/mlx4: Handle Ethernet L2
parameters for IP based GID addressing".  It handles the fact that IP
based RoCE gids don't store Ethernet L2 parameters, MAC and VLAN.

When building an address handle, instead of parsing the dgid to
get the MAC and VLAN, take them from the address handle attributes.

that got stuff spliced into it from that sucker.  ->ops->get() will be
called, then buf gets copied into target pipe's ->bufs[] and eventually

which is not a good thing, to put it mildly.  AFAICS, that ought to use

  should be fine, as it wont actually free a page with reference count.

  good for being symmetric with generic_pipe_buf_get, it is fine to add.

64590daa9e NFSv4.1: Handle errors correctly in nfs41_walk_client_list
Both nfs41_walk_client_list and nfs40_walk_client_list expect the
'status' variable to be set to the value -NFS4ERR_STALE_CLIENTID
if the loop fails to find a match.
The problem is that the 'pos->cl_cons_state > NFS_CS_READY' changes
the value of 'status', and sets it either to the value '0' (which
indicates success), or to the value EINTR.

342dfc306f net: add build-time checks for msg->msg_name size
This is a follow-up patch to f3d3342602 ("net: rework recvmsg
handler msg_name and msg_namelen logic").

DECLARE_SOCKADDR validates that the structure we use for writing the
name information to is not larger than the buffer which is reserved
for msg->msg_name (which is 128 bytes). Also use DECLARE_SOCKADDR
consistently in sendmsg code paths.

ea02f9411d net: introduce SO_BPF_EXTENSIONS
For user space packet capturing libraries such as libpcap, there's
currently only one way to check which BPF extensions are supported
by the kernel, that is, commit aa1113d9f8 ("net: filter: return
-EINVAL if BPF_S_ANC* operation is not supported"). For querying all
extensions at once this might be rather inconvenient.

Therefore, this patch introduces a new option which can be used as
an argument for getsockopt(), and allows one to obtain information
about which BPF extensions are supported by the current kernel.

As David Miller suggests, we do not need to define any bits right
now and status quo can just return 0 in order to state that this
versions supports SKF_AD_PROTOCOL up to SKF_AD_PAY_OFFSET. Later
additions to BPF extensions need to add their bits to the
bpf_tell_extensions() function, as documented in the comment.

961d9cacee ktest: Add BISECT_TRIES to bisect test
For those cases that it takes several tries to hit a bug, it would be
useful for ktest.pl to try a test multiple times before it considers
the test as a pass. To accomplish this, BISECT_TRIES ktest config
option has been added. It is default to one, as most of the time a
bisect only needs to try a test once. But the user can now up this
to make ktest run a given test multiple times. The first failure
that is detected will set a bisect bad. It only repeats on success.

Note, as with all race bugs, there's no guarantee that if it succeeds,
it is really a good bisect. But it helps in case the bug is somewhat
reliable.

You can set BISECT_TRIES to zero, and all tests will be considered
good, unless you also set BISECT_MANUAL.

IP based RoCE gids don't store Ethernet L2 parameters, MAC and VLAN.

Therefore, we need to extract them from the CQE and place them in
struct ib_wc (to be used for cases were they were taken from the gid).

Also, when modifying a QP or building address handle, instead of
parsing the dgid to get the MAC and VLAN, take them from the address
handle attributes.

d487ee7774 IB/mlx4: Use IBoE (RoCE) IP based GIDs in the port GID table
Currently, the mlx4 driver set IBoE (RoCE) gids to encode related
Ethernet netdevice interface MAC address and possibly VLAN id.

Change this scheme such that gids encode interface IP addresses (both
IP4 and IPv6).

This requires learning the IP addresses which are of use by a
netdevice associated with the HCA port, formatting them to gids and
adding them to the port gid table.  Furthermore, events of add and
delete address are caught to maintain the gid table accordingly.

Associated IP addresses may belong to a master of an Ethernet
netdevice on top of that port so this should be considered when
building and maintaining the gid table.

Currently, the IB core and specifically the RDMA-CM assumes that IBoE
(RoCE) gids encode related Ethernet netdevice interface MAC address
and possibly VLAN id.

Change GIDs to be treated as they encode interface IP address.

Since Ethernet layer 2 address parameters are not longer encoded
within gids, we have to extend the Infiniband address structures (e.g.
ib_ah_attr) with layer 2 address parameters, namely mac and vlan.

0d0d110720 asserts that "d_splice_alias()
can't return error unless it was given an IS_ERR(inode)".

That was true of the implementation of d_splice_alias, but this is
really a problem with d_splice_alias: at a minimum it should be able to
return -ELOOP in the case where inserting the given dentry would cause a
directory loop.

e5624054c1 mmc: sdio: add a quirk for broken SDIO_CCCR_INTx polling
Polling SDIO_CCCR_INTx could create a fake interrupt with Marvell
SD8797 card. Add a quirk to handle this case. The fixup here is
to issue a dummy CMD52 read to function 0 register 0xff, and this
dummy read must be right after SDIO_CCCR_INTx is read.

Patch has been verified on a dw_mmc controller (Samsung Chromebook)
with MMC_CAP_SDIO_IRQ disabled.

This patch takes advantage of the dma buffer always being present in the
first descriptor and mapped as single. As such we can call dma_unmap_single

7ad1a09351 ixgbevf: make the first tx_buffer a repository for most of the skb info
This change makes it so that the first tx_buffer structure acts as a
central storage location for most of the info about the skb we are about
to transmit.

In addition this patch makes tx_flags part of the ixgbevf_tx_buffer struct.
This allows us to use the flags directly from the stucture and as result
removes the tx_flags parameter from some functions. Also as a cleanup
mapped_as_page is folded into tx_flags and some unused flags were removed.

9703192219 ixgbevf: remove counters for Tx/Rx checksum offload
This patch removes the Tx/Rx counters for checksum offload.

The Tx counter was never updated and the Rx counter is of limited use.
This is in effort to clean up the counters and make them consistent

05d063aa86 ixgbevf: make use of the dev pointer in the ixgbevf_ring struct
This patch cleans up the code by removing the adapter structure as
parameter from multiple functions. The adapter structure was previously
being used to access the dev pointer, but this can also be done via the
ixgbevf_ring structure. This way we can drop the adapter as parameter from
these functions.

This patch also includes small cleanups in some error code paths.
