cifs.ko has historically been tolerant of options that it does not
recognize. This is not normal behavior for a filesystem however.
Usually, it should only do this if you mount with '-s', and autofs
generally passes -s to the mount command to allow this behavior.
This patch makes cifs handle the option "sloppy" appropriately. If it's
present in the options string, then the client will tolerate options
that it doesn't recognize. If it's not present then the client will
error out in the presence of options that it does not recognize and
throw an error message explaining why.
There is also a companion patch being proposed for mount.cifs to make it
append "sloppy" to the mount options when passed the '-s' flag. This also
should (obviously) be applied on top of Sachin's conversion to the
standard option parser.

Use the standard token parser instead of the long if condition to parse
cifs mount options.

Mount options have been grouped together in terms of their input types.
Aliases for username, password, domain and credentials have been added.
The password parser has been modified to make it easier to read.
Since the patch was first proposed, the following bugs have been fixed
1) Allow blank 'pass' option to be passed by the cifs mount helper when
using sec=none.
2) Do not explicitly set vol->nullauth to 0. This causes a problem
when using sec=none while also using a username.

The gfp flags are currently set to __GPF_HIGHMEM, which doesn't allow
for any reclaim. Make this more resilient by or'ing that with
GFP_KERNEL. Also, get rid of the goto and unify the exit codepath.

Adjusting cc715d99e5 "mm: vmscan: forcibly scan highmem if there are
too many buffer_heads pinning highmem" for -stable reveals that it was
slightly wrong once on top of fe2c2a1066 "vmscan: reclaim at order 0
when compaction is enabled", which specifically adds testorder for the
zone_watermark_ok_safe() test.

This patch removes dead code from certain .config variations.
When CONFIG_GENERIC_PENDING_IRQ=n irq move and reenable code is
never get executed, nor do_unmask_irq variable updates its init
value. Move the code under CONFIG_GENERIC_PENDING_IRQ macro.

As suggested by Suresh Siddha and Yinghai Lu:
For x2apic pre-enabled systems, apic driver is set already early
through early_acpi_boot_init()/early_acpi_process_madt()/
acpi_parse_madt()/default_acpi_madt_oem_check() path so that
apic_id_valid() checking will be sufficient during MADT and SRAT
parsing.
For non-x2apic pre-enabled systems, all apic ids should be less
than 255.
This allows us to substitute the checks in
arch/x86/kernel/acpi/boot.c::acpi_parse_x2apic() and
arch/x86/mm/srat.c::acpi_numa_x2apic_affinity_init() with
apic->apic_id_valid().
In addition we can avoid feigning the x2apic cpu feature in the
NumaChip apic code.
The following apic drivers have separate apic_id_valid()
functions which will accept x2apic type IDs :

x2apic_uv_x

Get rid of INLINE_SPIN_UNLOCK entirely replacing it with
UNINLINE_SPIN_UNLOCK instead of the reverse meaning.
Whoever wants to change the default spinlock inlining
behavior and uninline the spinlocks for some weird reason,
such as spinlock debugging, paravirt etc. can now all just
select UNINLINE_SPIN_UNLOCK

A kernel compiled with SMP=n will not register any cpu devices.
The resulting kernel image will not boot with this error message:
kernel BUG at fs/sysfs/group.c:65!
Use GENERIC_CPU_DEVICES=y if SMP=n to get the missing cpu device.

Add a perf PMU to access the CPU-measurement counter facility CPUM CF.
CPUM CF provides multiple counter sets for measuring generic,
problem-state, and crypto activaties. Also an extended counter set for
the IBM System z10 and IBM z196 mainframes is available.
Counters from the basic and problem-state counter set are mapped to
generic perf hardware events. Other counters are accessible through
raw events.

Prepare the measurement facility which is currently only used by oprofile
for multiple users. To achieve that the measurement alert interrupt control
bit needs to be protected. The measurement alert definitions are moved
to a header file and an interrupt mask is added so that users can discard
interrupts if they are for a different measurement subsystem.

Add I2C driver for MCP3021 that is an ADC chip from Microchip.
The MCP3021 is a successive approximation A/D converter (ADC)
with 10-bit resolution.
The driver export the value of Vin to sysfs, the voltage unit is
mV. Through the sysfs interface, lm-sensors tool can also display
Vin voltage.
