To properly setup event parameters for emulated events, pass
the appropriate flag to the slot initialization function. Also,
all MT-related events should be setup before initialization.
Incidentally, this solves the issue of doubly filtered pointer
events.

Make the constants referring to range and bandwidth public so they can
be used when initializing the platform data fields in the platform code.
Fix also some comments regarding the unit of measurement to use for the
range and bandwidth fields, the values are not actually expected to be
in G or HZ, the code in bma150.c just uses the BMA150_RANGE_xxx and
BMA150_BW_xxx constants like they are with no translation from actual
values in G or HZ.

When PM_RUNTIME is not defined, pm_runtime_get_sync() returns 1, see
include/linux/pm_runtime.c::__pm_runtime_resume(), and the check of the
return value was overlooking this, in this case bma150_open() would
return 1 which is not expected by upper layers.
Maybe the check for != -ENOSYS (Function not implemented) was meant to
cover this, but pm_runtime_get_sync() does not return this value.
For now fix the issue locally by checking explicitly for negative return
values.

When intel_pstate is configured into the kernel it will become the
preferred scaling driver for processors that it supports. Allow the
user to override this by adding:
intel_pstate=disable
on the kernel command line.

Load order is important in order for intel_pstate to take over as the
default scaling driver from acpi-cpufreq.
If both are built-in, acpi-cpufreq uses late_initcall() and
intel_pstate uses device_initcall() so it will be able to register as
the scaling before acpi-cpufreq for the processors supported by
intel_pstate.
If acpi-cpufreq is built as a module then intel_pstate still gets
first option to become the scaling driver.

devices using stb0899 didn't display their signal quality in VDR's OSD
any more. After further investigation I found that
ioctl(FE_READ_UNCORRECTED_BLOCKS) no longer returns EOPNOTSUPP, but
rather ENOTTY. And since I stop getting the signal quality in case
any unknown errno value appears, this broke my signal quality query

The trinity fuzzer triggered a task_struct reference leak via
clock_nanosleep with CPU_TIMERs. do_cpu_nanosleep() calls
posic_cpu_timer_create(), but misses a corresponding
posix_cpu_timer_del() which leads to the task_struct reference leak.

Patch 85a18198 "clk: sunxi: Use common of_clk_init() function"
removed the clk-sunxi.c file but left the Makefile entry, which
causes a build error in multi_v7_defconfig:
make[4]: *** No rule to make target `drivers/clk/clk-sunxi.o', needed by `drivers/clk/built-in.o'.
The obvious fix is to remove the extraneous line from the
Makefile.

We are doing this b/c on 32-bit PVonHVM with older hypervisors
(Xen 4.1) it ends up bothing up the start_info. This is bad b/c
we use it for the time keeping, and the timekeeping code loops
forever - as the version field never changes. Olaf says to
revert it, so lets do that.

Commit cb57a2b4cf ("x86-32: Export
kernel_stack_pointer() for modules") added an include of the
module.h header in conjunction with adding an EXPORT_SYMBOL_GPL
of kernel_stack_pointer.
But module.h should be avoided for simple exports, since it in turn
includes the world. Swap the module.h for export.h instead.

There's DWARF unwind support only for x86 archs, so limit the unwind.o
object to them only.
Without this building for other archs (e.g. cross compiling for ARM) is
broken.

Add --skip-missing option for skipping symbols that cannot be used for
annotation. It's the case of kernel symbols that user doesn't have a
vmlinux image file.

In order to differentiate source lines from asm line, print them with
gray color. To do this, it needs to be escaped since sometimes it
contains "<" and/or ">" characters so that it should not be considered
as a markup tags. Use glib's g_markup_escape_text() for this.

Show multiple annotation result for each evsel. Each result represents
the most frquently sampled symbol/function for the evsel and it will be
shown in a tab window.
For this add a reference to main container (notebook) to the pgctx. At
the first call to annotate browser, hist_entry__find_annotations() will
setup a new browser, and next calls will add new tabs to the browser.
But it requires final perf_gtk__show_annotations() to start processing
GUI events.

When perf annotate runs with no vmlinux file it cannot annotate kernel
symbols because the kallsyms only provides symbol addresses. So it
recommends to run perf buildid-cache to install proper vmlinux image.
But running perf buildid-cache -av vmlinux as the message gives me a
following error:
$ perf buildid-cache -av /home/namhyung/build/kernel/vmlinux
Couldn't add v: No such file or directory
Since the -a option receives a parameter, 'v' should not be after the
option.
In addition -a option is not work for this case since the build-id cache
already has a kallsyms with same build-id so it'll fail with EEXIST.
Use recently added -u (--update) option for it.

When adding vmlinux file to build-id cache, it'd be fail since kallsyms
dso with a same build-id was already added by perf record.
So one needs to remove the kallsyms first to add vmlinux into the cache.
Add --update option for doing it at once.

Rushmore touchpads are found on Dell E6230/E6430/E6530. They use the V3
protocol with slightly tweaked init sequences and report formats.
The E7 report is 73 03 0a, and the EC report is 88 08 1d

A number of different ALPS touchpad protocols can reuse
alps_process_touchpad_packet_v3() with small tweaks to the bitfield
decoding. Create a new priv->decode_fields() callback that handles the
per-model differences.

Pinnacle class devices should return "88 07 xx" or "88 08 xx" when
entering command mode. If either the first byte or the second byte is
invalid, return an error.

The official ALPS driver uses the EC report, not the E7 report, to detect
these devices. Also, they check for a range of values; the original
table-based code only checked for two specific ones.

If the E6 report test passes, get the E7 and EC reports right away and
then try to match an entry in the table.
Pass in the alps_data struct, so that the detection code will be able to
set operating parameters based on information found during detection.
Change the version (psmouse->model) to report the protocol version only,
in preparation for supporting models that do not show up in the ID table.

Several ALPS driver init sequences repeat a command three times, then
issue PSMOUSE_CMD_GETINFO to read the result. Move this into a helper
function to simplify the code.
