This change adds the first network driver for the tile architecture,
supporting the on-chip XGBE and GBE shims.
The infrastructure is present for the TILE-Gx networking drivers (another
three source files in the new directory) but for now the the actual
tilegx sources are waiting on releasing hardware to initial customers.
Note that arch/tile/include/hv/* are "upstream" headers from the
Tilera hypervisor and will probably benefit less from LKML review.

It is possible that the op_remove_interface function is invoked exactly at
the same time has hw recovery is started. In this case it is possible for the
interface to be already removed in the op_remove_interface call, which
currently leads to a kernel warning and a subsequent kernel crash.
Fix this by ignoring the op_remove_interface call if the interface is already
down at that point.

Under load, a large number of frames can produce decryption errors, even when
no key cache update is being done. Performing a key search for every single
frame in an A-MPDU improves reliability.

If only 3945 is selected, and is a module, build
fails because iwl-legacy.c won't be compiled. Fix
this by adding it to the build correctly.
This doesn't happen for 4965 because it is a bool
option, not tristate, since it's built into the
AGN module.

It seems that using ath9k_hw_stoppcurecv to stop rx dma is not enough.
When it's time to stop DMA, the PCU is still busy, so the rx enable
bit never clears.
Using ath9k_hw_abortpcurecv helps with getting rx stopped much faster,
with this change, I cannot reproduce the rx stop related WARN_ON anymore.

Some aspects of PHY initialization are board dependent, things like
indicator LED connections and some clocking modes cannot be determined
by probing. The dev_flags element of struct phy_device can be used to
control these things if an appropriate value can be passed from the
Ethernet driver. We run into problems however if the PHY connections
are specified by the device tree. There is no way for the Ethernet
driver to know what flags it should pass.
If we are using the device tree, the struct phy_device will be
populated with the device tree node corresponding to the PHY, and we
can extract extra configuration information from there.
The next question is what should the format of that information be?
It is highly device specific, and the device tree representation
should not be tied to any arbitrary kernel defined constants. A
straight forward representation is just to specify the exact bits that
should be set using the "marvell,reg-init" property:

The Marvell PHYs have a page select register at register 22 (0x16), we
can specify any register by its page and register number. These are
the first and second word. The third word contains a mask to be ANDed
with the existing register value, and the fourth word is ORed with the
result to yield the new register value. The new marvell_of_reg_init
function leaves the page select register unchanged, so a call to it
can be dropped into the .config_init functions without unduly
affecting the state of the PHY.
If CONFIG_OF_MDIO is not set, there is no of_node, or no
"marvell,reg-init" property, the PHY initialization is unchanged.

The 88E1149R is 10/100/1000 quad-gigabit Ethernet PHY. The
.config_aneg function can be shared with 88E1118, but it needs its own
.config_init.

Driver appears to be mistaking the permission field with default value
in the case of debug and qlge_irq_type.
Driver is also passing debug as a bitmask into netif_msg_init()
which wants a number of bits. Ron Mercer suggests we should
change this to pass in -1 so the defaults get used instead,
which makes the default much less verbose.

With the current default 'vepa' mode, a KVM guest using virtio with
macvtap backend has the following limitations.
- cannot change/add a mac address on the guest virtio-net
- cannot create a vlan device on the guest virtio-net
- cannot enable promiscuous mode on guest virtio-net
To address these limitations, this patch introduces a new mode called
'passthru' when creating a macvlan device which allows takeover of the
underlying device and passing it to a guest using virtio with macvtap
backend.
Only one macvlan device is allowed in passthru mode and it inherits
the mac address from the underlying device and sets it in promiscuous
mode to receive and forward all the packets.

On the disassociation event from the mac80211, the wl12xx driver does not
clear the chipset configuration related to the AP - i.e. it does not perform
a DISCONNECT and then a JOIN with zero SSID and dummy BSSID. Also, it does not
unset the BSSID filter.
Often this is not a problem, as the above is performed upon entering idle
state. But if a scenario arises where a new association is attempted without
cycling through idle state, the new association will fail.
Fix this by resetting the firmware state on disassociation.

It looks to me as if the second value of rate_err_array is intended
to be a decimal 625. However, with a leading 0 it becomes an octal
constant, and as such evaluates to a decimal 405.

Commit 496c185c94 "atl1c: Add support
for Atheros AR8152 and AR8152" added the condition:

for enabling OTP CLK, and the condition:

for disabling OTP CLK. Since the two previously defined hardware
types are athr_l1c and athr_l2c, the latter condition appears to be
the correct one. Change the former to match.

VMWare reports that the e1000 driver has a bug when bringing down the
interface, such that interrupts are not disabled in the hardware but the
driver stops reporting that it consumed the interrupt.
The fix is to set the driver's "down" flag later in the routine,
after all the timers and such have exited, preventing the interrupt
handler from being called and exiting early without handling the
interrupt.

Add multiqueue support to vmxnet3 driver
This change adds multiqueue and thus receive side scaling support
to vmxnet3 device driver. Number of rx queues is limited to 1 in cases
where MSI is not configured or one MSIx vector is not available per rx
queue

Remove pc variable to avoid arithmetic to compute fentry at each filter
instruction. Jumps directly manipulate fentry pointer.
As the last instruction of filter[] is guaranteed to be a RETURN, and
all jumps are before the last instruction, we dont need to check filter
bounds (number of instructions in filter array) at each iteration, so we
remove it from sk_run_filter() params.
On x86_32 remove f_k var introduced in commit 57fe93b374
(filter: make sure filters dont read uninitialized memory)
Note : We could use a CONFIG_ARCH_HAS_{FEW|MANY}_REGISTERS in order to
avoid too many ifdefs in this code.
This helps compiler to use cpu registers to hold fentry and A
accumulator.
On x86_32, this saves 401 bytes, and more important, sk_run_filter()
runs much faster because less register pressure (One less conditional
branch per BPF instruction)

Since interrupts are enabled only when open is called on the interface,
Attempting a firmware update operation when interface is down could lead to
partial success or failure of operation. This fix fails the request if
netif_running is false.
