cfa9667d4a ARM: OMAP2+: io: use new clock init API
clk_init is now separated to a common function which gets called for all
SoC:s, which initializes the DT clocks and calls the SoC specific clock init.

943a63a41f ARM: OMAP2+: PRM: add support for initializing PRCM clock modules from DT
This patch provides top level functionality for the DT clock initialization.
Clock tree is initialized hierarchically starting from IP modules (CM/PRM/PRCM)
going down towards individual clock nodes, and finally initializing
clockdomains once all the clocks are ready.

0385c58207 ARM: OMAP3: hwmod: initialize clkdm from clkdm_name
DT clocks are mostly missing clkdm info now, and this causes an issue with
counter32k which makes its slave idlemode wrong and prevents core idle.

Fixed by initializing the hwmod clkdm pointers for omap3 also which makes
sure the clkdm flag matching logic works properly.

This patch also changes the return value for _init_clkdm to 0 for
incorrect clkdm_name, as this a warning, not a fatal error.

924f9498ac ARM: OMAP: hwmod: fix an incorrect clk type cast with _get_clkdm

519ab8b202 ARM: OMAP2+: clock: use driver API instead of direct memory read/write
Clock nodes shall use the services provided by underlying drivers to access
the hardware registers instead of direct memory read/write. Thus, change
all the code to use the new omap2_clk_readl / omap2_clk_writel APIs for this.

3cd4a59622 CLK: TI: add support for clockdomain binding
Some OMAP clocks require knowledge about their parent clockdomain for
book keeping purposes. This patch creates a new DT binding for TI
clockdomains, which act as a collection of device clocks. Clockdomain
itself is rather misleading name for the hardware functionality, as at
least on OMAP4 / OMAP5 / DRA7 the clockdomains can be collections of either
clocks and/or IP blocks, thus idle-domain or such might be more appropriate.
For most cases on these SoCs, the kernel doesn't even need the information
and the mappings can be ignored.

db4aad209b kernfs: associate a new kernfs_node with its parent on creation
Once created, a kernfs_node is always destroyed by kernfs_put().
Since ba7443bc65 ("sysfs, kernfs: implement
kernfs_create/destroy_root()"), kernfs_put() depends on kernfs_root()
to locate the ino_ida. kernfs_root() in turn depends on
kernfs_node->parent being set for !dir nodes. This means that
kernfs_put() of a !dir node requires its ->parent to be initialized.

This leads to oops when a newly created !dir node is destroyed without
going through kernfs_add_one() or after failing kernfs_add_one()
before ->parent is set. kernfs_root() invoked from kernfs_put() will
try to dereference NULL parent.

Fix it by moving parent association to kernfs_new_node() from
kernfs_add_one().  kernfs_new_node() now takes @parent instead of
@root and determines the root from the parent and also sets the new
node's parent properly. @parent parameter is removed from
kernfs_add_one(). As there's no parent when creating the root node,
__kernfs_new_node() which takes @root as before and doesn't set the
parent is used in that case.

This ensures that a kernfs_node in any stage in its life has its
parent associated and thus can be put.

23061f1eb8 spi: Remove duplicate code to set default bits_per_word setting
The implementation in spi_setup() already set spi->bits_per_word = 8 when
spi->bits_per_word is 0 before calling spi->master->setup.
So we don't need to do it again in setup() callback.

4e47f91bf7 gpio: mcp23s08: Add irq functionality for i2c chips
This adds interrupt functionality for i2c chips to the driver.
They can act as a interrupt-controller and generate interrupts, if
the inputs change.
This is tested with a mcp23017 chip on an arm based platform.

v3:
- be a bit more clear that the irq functionality is also available
on spi versions of the chips, but the linux driver does not support
  this yet

v2:
- some more word about irq-mirror property in binding doc
- use of_read_bool instead of of_find_property for
  "interrupt-contrller" and "irq-mirror"
- cache the "interrupt-controller" for remove function
- do set the irq-mirror bit only if device is marked as
  interrupt-controller
- do create the irq mapping and setup of irq_desc of all possible
interrupts in probe path instead of in gpio_to_irq
- mark gpios as in use as interrupts in irq in irq_startup and
  unlock it in irq_shutdown
- rename virq to child_irq
- remove dev argument from mcp23s08_irq_setup function
- move gpiochip_add before mcp23s08_irq_setup in probe path

2a29190c04 perf tools: Remove unnecessary callchain cursor state restore on unmatch
If a new callchain branch doesn't match a single entry of the node that
it is given against comparison in append_chain(), then the cursor is
expected to be at the same position as it was before the comparison
loop.

As such, there is no need to restore the cursor position on exit in case
of non matching branches.

7cf347bd20 mmc: dw_mmc: fix dw_mci_get_cd
bf626e5550 ("mmc: dw_mmc: use slot-gpio to handle cd pin") caused
CDETECT to be ignored, since negated return value of mmc_gpio_get_cd(mmc)
can not be checked by IS_ERR_VALUE.

Also, add spin_lock_bh(&host->lock) for atomic access to
DW_MMC_CARD_PRESENT, otherwise sd detect may occasionally fail.
