4898de3d15 ARM: PRIMA2: add new SiRFmarco SMP SoC infrastructures
this patch adds tick timer, smp entries and generic DT machine
for SiRFmarco dual-core SMP chips.

with the added marco, we change the defconfig, using the same
defconfig, we get a zImage which can work on both prima2 and
marco.

8979cfef26 ARM: ux500: Provide a link from AB8500 Pinctrl to the PRCMU
The AB8500 Pinctrl driver uses PRCMU register addresses to
control Pinctrl related functions. For this to happen, the
Pinctrl driver needs the PRCMU base to work from. We can do
that using standard Open Firmware (of_*) function calls, but
first we need a mechanism to gain access to the PRCMU
device node. We're going to use a Phandle in this case.

eb8b8f2e71 clk: prima2: enable dt-binding clkdev mapping
this patche deletes hard code that registers clkdev by things like:
clk_register_clkdev(clk, NULL, "b0030000.nand");
clk_register_clkdev(clk, NULL, "b0040000.audio");
clk_register_clkdev(clk, NULL, "b0080000.usp");
prima2 clock controller becomes a clock provider and every dt node
just declares its clock sources by dt prop.

it also makes us easier to extend this driver to support both prima2
and marco as marco has different address mapping with prima2.

12faa35ae5 serial: vt8500: UART uses gated clock rather than 24Mhz reference
UART modules on Wondermedia SoCs are connected via a gated clock
source, rather than directly to the 24Mhz reference clock. While
uboot enables UART0 for debugging, other UART ports are unavailable
until the clock is enabled.

This patch checks that a valid clock is actually passed from devicetree,
enables the clock in probe. This change removes the fallback when a
clock was not specified as it doesn't apply any longer (and would only
work if the UART clock was already enabled).

DTSI files are updated for VT8500, WM8505 and WM8650.

9692c191ff ARM: bcm2835: fix clock node aliasing in device tree
Both clock nodes in the current device tree are named "clock" and hence
end up being the same node. Rename the nodes to different names to avoid
this. In fact, fixed-clock uses the node name as the clock name, so name
the nodes after the clock they represent. Move the clocks into a
"clocks" sub-node to group them and avoid any possible naming conflicts
with other nodes also named after the device type.

6520700fdb ARM: bcm2835 rpi: remove hard-coded memreserve from DT
The Raspberry Pi has either 256MB or 512MB of RAM. However, a portion is
reserved for use by the VideoCore co-processor. The RPi DT contained a
/memreserve/ statement to reserve that RAM. However, the exact amount of
RAM used by the VideoCore is dynamic at boot-time; a firmware config
file specifies the amount. As such, we can't hard-code the size in the
DT. Remove the /memreserve/ statement. The bootloader is expected to
adjust the /memory properties to reflect the RAM size the ARM CPU can
use. Upstream U-Boot certainly does this, although I'm not sure that the
basic firmware does if it boots the kernel directly; users may need to
manually adjust their DT if not using U-Boot.

    - uart driver selection, dt clocks, gpio-poweroff fixups,
a few __init annotation fixes and some error handling improvement

  - i.MX had a couple of minor fixes (and a critical one for flexcan2
    clock setup)
  - MXS has a small board fix and a framebuffer bugfix
  - A set of fixes for Samsung Exynos, fixing default bootargs and some
    Exynos5440 clock issues
  - A set of OMAP changes including PM fixes and a few sparse warning
    fixups

All in all a bit more positive code delta than we'd ideally want to see

Merge tag 'fixes' of git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/arm/arm-soc

Pull ARM SoC fixes from Olof Johansson:
"People are back from the holiday breaks, and it shows. Here are a
bunch of fixes for a number of platforms:
   - A couple of small fixes for Nomadik
   - A larger set of changes for kirkwood/mvebu
     - uart driver selection, dt clocks, gpio-poweroff fixups, a few
__init annotation fixes and some error handling improvement in
       their xor dma driver.
   - A set of OMAP changes including PM fixes and a few sparse warning
     fixups

All in all a bit more positive code delta than we'd ideally want to
see here, mostly from the OMAP PM changes, but nothing overly crazy."

5f79c651e8 arm: mvebu: use global interrupts for GPIOs on Armada XP
The Armada XP GPIO controller has two ways of notifying interrupts:
using global interrupts or using per-CPU interrupts. In an attempt to
use the best available features, the 'marvell,armadaxp-gpio'
compatible string selects a variant of the gpio-mvebu driver that
makes use of the per-CPU interrupts.

Unfortunately, this doesn't work properly in a SMP context, because we
fall into cases where the GPIO interrupt is enabled on CPU X at the
GPIO controller level, but on CPU Y at the interrupt controller
level. It is not yet clear how to fix that easily.

So for 3.8, our approach is to switch to global interrupts for GPIOs,
so that we do not fall into this per-CPU interrupts problem.

This patch therefore fixes GPIO interrupts on Armada XP
platforms. Without this patch, GPIO interrupts simply do not work
reliably, because their proper operation depends on which CPU the code
requesting the interrupt is running.

77916519cb arm: mvebu: Armada XP MV78230 has only three Ethernet interfaces
We originally thought that the MV78230 variant of the Armada XP had
four Ethernet interfaces, like the other variants MV78260 and
MV78460. In fact, this is not true, and the MV78230 has only three
Ethernet interfaces.

So, the definitions of the Ethernet interfaces is now done as follows:

 * armada-370-xp.dtsi: definitions of the first two interfaces, that
are common to Armada 370 and Armada XP

 * armada-xp.dtsi: definition of the third interface, common to all
   Armada XP variants.
