21f74d361d sparc32: Remove uses of %g7 in memcpy implementation.
This is setting things up so that we can correct the return

a06f916b7a ARM: smp: fix clipping of number of CPUs
Rather than clipping the number of CPUs using the compile-time NR_CPUS
constant, use the runtime nr_cpu_ids value instead.  This allows the
nr_cpus command line option to work as expected.

b55fa18817 ARM: 7137/1: Fix error upon adding LL debug
Upon adding new board LL debug support, if the resultant code
addition would not cause PC relative offset of "hexbuf" from
"adr r2, hexbuf" (+2) instruction to be representable in a
shifted 8-bit value (hence indirectly putting higher aligment
requirement on larger offsets), following error occurs,

arch/arm/kernel/debug.S: Assembler messages:
arch/arm/kernel/debug.S:138: Error: invalid constant (428) after fixup

Fix it by bringing "hexbuf" closer so that "adr"
can have the offset.

It seems the shell chokes because sparse is called with command line
arguments such as:

39ad56805a MIPS: Netlogic: Specify architecture CFLAGS
Use -march=xlr if available, otherwise fallback to mips64. This allows
us to support compilation with MIPS toolchains which are not customized
for XLR.

binutils 2.21 which otherwise may result in an assertion failure building

macro GAS fix update].

Turns out this patch is producing many build errors with gcc 4.2.  Based
on further testing with a test case extracted from the build errors found
further build errors and suboptimal generation even in violation of the
"R" constraint.

To make matters worse, the binutils changes also don't work quite as
intended so revert this patch for now.

dd5d1380f1 MIPS: SNI: Fix conflicting wrapper symbols for headers.
If Open Firmware / Device Tree support is enabled on a SNI RM kernel both
<asm/mipsprom.h> and <asm/prom.h> will be included into some .c files.
Since both headers use the same wrapper symbol only the inclusion of the
first file will have an effect but the 2nd file will be ignored resulting
in a build error.

d9cdc901af MIPS: cache: Provide cache flush operations for XFS
Until now flush_kernel_vmap_range() and invalidate_kernel_vmap_range() did
not exist on MIPS resulting in heavy cache corruption on XFS filesystems.

Left for the post-3.0 time: optimization and make this work with highmem,
too.  Since the combination of highmem + cache aliases atm doesn't work
this isn't a regression.

8aca3ab586 ARM: OMAP: Warn if omap_ioremap is called before SoC detection
We don't have cpu_is_omapxxxx SoC detection initialized until

Note that with the common map_io we should no longer need

fee926bb0d ARM: OMAP: Remove calls to SRAM allocations for framebuffer
This assumes fixed mappings which will not work once we move
to use ioremap_exec(). It seems that these are currently
not in use, or in use for some out of tree corner cases.

If SRAM support for framebuffer is wanted, it should be done
with ioremap in the driver.

Note that further removal of the code can now be done,
but that can be done seprately by the driver maintainers.

7b88e62f5d ARM: OMAP1: Use generic map_io, init_early and init_irq
This allows removing omap hacks for map_io allowing generic
map_io.

Note that in the future we can't do cpu_is_omapxxxx detection
until in init_early. This means that board-innovator.c now
assumes 15xx only, and board-generic.c assumes 16xx only.
This is best fixed later on by passing the SoC type from
device tree.

aad4564498 sparc: Add alignment flag to PCI expansion resources
Currently no type of alignment is specified for PCI expansion roms while 
parsing the openfirmware tree. This causes calls to pci_map_rom() to fail.
IORESOURCE_SIZEALIGN is the default alignment used for rom resouces in 
pci/probe.c, and has been verified to work with various cards on a ultra 10.

can potentially lead to invalid data being stored in cx.

e6599225db xen/irq: If we fail during msi_capability_init return proper error code.
There are three different modes: PV, HVM, and initial domain 0. In all
the cases we would return -1 for failure instead of a proper error code.
Fix this by propagating the error code from the generic IRQ code.

added microcode revision format to /proc/cpuinfo and the MCE handler in
