If bridge is configured with no STP and forwarding delay of 0 (which
is typical for virtualization) then when link starts it will flood all
packets for the first 20 seconds.
This bug was introduced by a combination of earlier changes:
* forwarding database uses hold time of zero to indicate
user wants to always flood packets
* optimzation of the case of forwarding delay of 0 avoids the initial
timer tick
The fix is to just skip all the topology change detection code if
kernel STP is not being used.

Currently the bridge catches all STP packets; even if STP is turned
off. This prevents other systems (which do have STP turned on)
from being able to detect loops in the network.
With this patch, if STP is off, then any packet sent to the STP
multicast group address is forwarded to all ports.
Based on earlier patch by Joakim Tjernlund with changes
to go through forwarding (not local chain), and optimization
that only last octet needs to be checked.

Napi structures are being created each time we open a port, but when
the port is closed the napi structure is only disabled but not removed.
This bug caused hang while removing the driver.

If a DHCP server is delayed, it's possible for the client to receive the
DHCPOFFER after it has already sent out a new DHCPDISCOVER message from
a second interface. The client then sends out a DHCPREQUEST from the
second interface, but the server doesn't recognize the device and
rejects the request.
This patch simply tracks the current device being configured and throws
away the OFFER if it is not intended for the current device. A more
sophisticated approach would be to put the OFFER information into the
struct ic_device rather than storing it globally.

wb_kupdate() function has a bug on linux-2.6.30-rc5. This bug causes
generic_sync_sb_inodes() to start to write inodes back much earlier than
our expectations because it miscalculates oldest_jif in wb_kupdate().
This bug was introduced in 704503d836
('mm: fix proc_dointvec_userhz_jiffies "breakage"').

The use of S3C2410_GP[A-Z]x_INP and S3C2410_GP[A-Z]x_OUTP are
very rare and are taking up large amounts of space in the
regs-gpio.h header.
The GPIO layer has had generic input and out defines called
S3C2410_GPIO_INPUT and S3C2410_GPIO_OUTPUT for a while which work
for all S3C24XX GPIOs.
Do the following replacements:
S3C2410_GP[A-Z][0-9]*_\OUTP => S3C2410_GPIO_OUTPUT
S3C2410_GP[A-Z][0-9]*_\INP => /S3C2410_GPIO_INPUT
S3C2410_GPA[0-9]*_OUT => S3C2410_GPIO_OUTPUT
to remove any usages of these and prepare the header for
the removal of these.
The following command was used to acheive this:

Remove the s3c2410_gpio_irq2pin() function as it is not being
used in any in kernel driver and the function is probably not
being used anywhere else.
This is also part of the effort to remove any of the s3c24xx gpio
specific code that cannot be recreated by using the gpiolib
framework now in the kernel.

To catch filesystem bugs or corruption which could lead to the
filesystem getting severly damaged, this patch adds a facility for
tracking all of the filesystem metadata blocks by contiguous regions
in a red-black tree. This allows quick searching of the tree to
locate extents which might overlap with filesystem metadata blocks.
This facility is also used by the multi-block allocator to assure that
it is not allocating blocks out of the system zone, as well as by the
routines used when reading indirect blocks and extents information
from disk to make sure their contents are valid.

This is needed to avoid warnings during file deletions and chowns with
xattrs disabled.

With xattr cleanup even with xattrs disabled, much of the initial setup
is still performed. Some #ifdefs are just not needed since the options
they protect wouldn't be available anyway.

The quirk to irq_period unearthed an unrobustness we had in the
hw_counter initialization sequence: we left irq_period at 0, which
was then quirked up to 2 ... which then generated a _lot_ of
interrupts during 'perf stat' runs, slowed them down and skewed
the counter results in general.
Initialize irq_period to the maximum instead.

Flushing counters in __exit_signal() with irqs disabled is not
a good idea as perf_counter_exit_task() acquires mutexes. So
flush it before acquiring the tasklist lock.
(Note, we still need a fix for when the PID has been unhashed.)

Clean up code that open-coded the list_{add,del}_counter() code in
__perf_counter_exit_task() which consequently diverged. This could
lead to software counter crashes.
Also, fold the ctx->nr_counter inc/dec into those functions and clean

This patch allow us to efficiently modify the number of
remaining conversions from the client side. This us useful
when we do not know in advance how many conversions we will
need or when we need to cancel pending conversions.
This change is simple enough to be compatible with existing
code that can just define the new pointer in the callback
and ignore it.
