ec2e0f9811 parisc/CPU hotplug: Add missing call to notify_cpu_starting()
The scheduler depends on receiving the CPU_STARTING notification, without
which we end up into a lot of trouble. So add the missing call to
notify_cpu_starting() in the bringup code.

958c59891a staging: comedi: refactor adv_pci1710 driver and use module_comedi_pci_driver
Move the module_init/module_exit routines and the associated
struct comedi_drive and struct pci_driver to the end of the
source. This is more typical of how other drivers are written and
removes the need for the forward declarations.

Convert the driver to use the module_comedi_pci_driver() macro
which makes the code smaller and a bit simpler.

fbbb456347 ima: fix filename hint to reflect script interpreter name
When IMA was first upstreamed, the bprm filename and interp were
always the same. Currently, the bprm->filename and bprm->interp
are the same, except for when only bprm->interp contains the
interpreter name. So instead of using the bprm->filename as
the IMA filename hint in the measurement list, we could replace
it with bprm->interp, but this feels too fragil.

The following patch is not much better, but at least there is some
indication that sometimes we're passing the filename and other times
the interpreter name.

This represents the mass deletion of the of the tokenring support.

It gets rid of:
  - the net/tr.c which the drivers depended on
  - the drivers/net component
  - the Kbuild infrastructure around it
  - any tokenring related CONFIG_ settings in any defconfigs
  - the tokenring headers in the include/linux dir
  - the firmware associated with the tokenring drivers.

211ed86510 net: delete all instances of special processing for token ring
We are going to delete the Token ring support. This removes any
special processing in the core networking for token ring, (aside

support present but inert.

The mass removal of the drivers and net/tr.c will be in a separate
commit, so that the history of these files that we still care
about won't have the giant deletion tied into their history.

867aae6ebe x86/PCI: only check for spinlock being held in SMP kernels
spin_is_locked() is always false on UP kernels: spin_lock_irqsave() does no
locking, so we can't tell whether the lock is held or not. Therefore,
this warning is only valid for SMP kernels.

6971113e10 USB: serial: sierra: put reset_resume callback back.
A few patches ago, I removed the reset_resume callback in this driver.
Now that the usb-serial core supports reset_resume, put this driver
callback back as well, so it should work identically to how it was
originally.

Now if this function really is doing what it should be doing, well,
that's a different story, but we are at least doing the identical thing
that we were before...

7186364e46 USB: serial: hook up reset_resume callback
The callback is now hooked up for any USB to serial driver that wants
it. We only register the callback if any of the usb-serial structures
want it, this keeps the USB core happy.

Thanks to Alan Stern for the ideas on how to do this.
