5ecbe3c3c6 kernel/extable: fix address-checks for core_kernel and init areas
The init_kernel_text() and core_kernel_text() functions should not
include the labels _einittext and _etext when checking if an address is
inside the .text or .init sections.

08332dff8a irqchip: Gic: fix boot for chained gics
As of c0114709ed: "irqchip: gic: Perform the gic_secondary_init() call
via CPU notifier", booting on a platform with chained gics (e.g.
Realview EB ARM11MPCore) will result in the gic_cpu_notifier being
registered twice, corrupting the cpu notifier list and rendering the
platform unbootable.

This patch ensures that we only register the notifier for the first
gic, allowing platforms with chained gics to boot. At the same time we
limit the pointlessly duplicated calls to set_smp_cross_call and
set_handle_irq to the first gic registered.

8ec25c5129 crypto: testmgr - fix sglen in test_aead for case 'dst != src'
Commit d8a32ac256 (crypto: testmgr - make
test_aead also test 'dst != src' code paths) added support for different
source and destination buffers in test_aead.

This patch modifies the source and destination buffer lengths accordingly:
the lengths are not equal since encryption / decryption adds / removes
the ICV.

5638cabf3e crypto: ccm - Fix handling of zero plaintext when computing mac
There are cases when cryptlen can be zero in crypto_ccm_auth():
-encryptiom: input scatterlist length is zero (no plaintext)
-decryption: input scatterlist contains only the mac
plus the condition of having different source and destination buffers
(or else scatterlist length = max(plaintext_len, ciphertext_len)).

These are not handled correctly, leading to crashes like:

9dda2769af crypto: s390 - Fix aes-xts parameter corruption
Some s390 crypto algorithms incorrectly use the crypto_tfm structure to
store private data. As the tfm can be shared among multiple threads, this
can result in data corruption.

This patch fixes aes-xts by moving the xts and pcc parameter blocks from
the tfm onto the stack (48 + 96 bytes).

talitos does not handle well zero-length assoc data. From dmesg:

Check whether assoc data is provided by inspecting assoclen,
not assoc pointer.
This is needed in order to pass testmgr tests.

41da8b5adb crypto: scatterwalk - Set the chain pointer indication bit
The scatterwalk_crypto_chain function invokes the scatterwalk_sg_chain
function to chain two scatterlists, but the chain pointer indication
bit is not set.  When the resulting scatterlist is used, for example,
by sg_nents to count the number of scatterlist entries, a segfault occurs
because sg_nents does not follow the chain pointer to the chained scatterlist.

Update scatterwalk_sg_chain to set the chain pointer indication bit as is
done by the sg_chain function.

fc019c7122 crypto: authenc - Find proper IV address in ablkcipher callback
When performing an asynchronous ablkcipher operation the authenc
completion callback routine is invoked, but it does not locate and use
the proper IV.

The callback routine, crypto_authenc_encrypt_done, is updated to use
the same method of calculating the address of the IV as is done in
crypto_authenc_encrypt function which sets up the callback.

ddf9c53629 drm/i915: add intel_display_power_enabled_sw() for use in atomic ctx
Atm we call intel_display_power_enabled() from
i915_capture_error_state() in IRQ context and then take a mutex. To fix
this add a new intel_display_power_enabled_sw() which returns the domain
state based on software tracking as opposed to reading the actual HW
state.

Since we use domain_use_count for this without locking on the reader
side make sure we increase the counter only after enabling all required
power wells and decrease it before disabling any of these power wells.

Note that atm we depend on the value returned by
intel_display_power_enabled_sw() in i915_capture_error_state() to avoid
unclaimed register access reports. This was never guaranteed though,
since another thread can disable the power concurrently. If this is a
problem we need another explicit way to disable the reporting during
error captures.

5a87182aa2 cpufreq: suspend governors on system suspend/hibernate
This patch adds cpufreq suspend/resume calls to dpm_{suspend|resume}_noirq()
for handling suspend/resume of cpufreq governors.

Lan Tianyu (Intel) & Jinhyuk Choi (Broadcom) found anr issue where
tunables configuration for clusters/sockets with non-boot CPUs was
getting lost after suspend/resume, as we were notifying governors
with CPUFREQ_GOV_POLICY_EXIT on removal of the last cpu for that
policy and so deallocating memory for tunables. This is fixed by
this patch as we don't allow any operation on governors after
device suspend and before device resume now.

21585ee848 ASoC: Add resource managed snd_dmaengine_pcm_register()
For many drivers using the generic dmaengine PCM driver one of the few (or the
only) things left to do in the drivers remove function is to unregister the PCM
device. This patch adds a resource managed version of snd_dmaengine_pcm_register()
which makes it possible to simplify the remove function as well as the error
path in the probe function for those drivers.

8ba4b3b9cc clk: tegra: Do not print errors for clk_round_rate()
clk_round_rate() can be used by drivers to determine whether or not a
frequency is supported by the clock. The current Tegra clock driver
outputs an error message and a stacktrace when the requested rate isn't
supported. That's fine for clk_set_rate(), but it's confusing when all
the driver does is query whether or not a frequency is supported.

5d8a77529b drm/i915: Check VBT for eDP ports on VLV
VLV can have eDP on either port B or C, or even both. Based on the
VBT spec, intel_dpd_is_edp() should work on VLV too, assuming we
check the correct ports.

So instead of hardcoding port D, rename the function to
intel_dp_is_edp() and pass the port as a parameter, and use it
on VLV ports B and C.

2ded3e5b61 ALSA: hda - Check leaf nodes to find aamix amps
The current generic parser assumes blindly that the volume and mute
amps are found in the aamix node itself.  But on some codecs,
typically Analog Devices ones, the aamix amps are separately
implemented in each leaf node of the aamix node, and the current
driver can't establish the correct amp controls.  This is a regression
compared with the previous static quirks.

This patch extends the search for the amps to the leaf nodes for
allowing the aamix controls again on such codecs.
In this implementation, I didn't code to loop through the whole paths,
since usually one depth should suffice, and we can't search too
deeply, as it may result in the conflicting control assignments.

2f0aa30425 drm/i915/vlv: use a lower RC6 timeout on VLV
We use timeout mode, and we need to lower the timeout to get good RC6
residency when loads are running.  This gets me from 0% residency during
glxgears to 77%, which is a pretty good improvement.  This value also
matches the current BWG recommentations.

In order to find I2C devices in the device tree, the platform nodes

It leads to a big mess when stuff interleaves. Especially with the new
patch I've submitted for the drm core to no longer artificially split
up debug messages.

v2: The size parameter to snprintf includes the terminating 0, but the

5bc0e85cc6 drm/i915: make sparse happy for the new vlv mmio read function
It doesn't like that we assign 0 to a pointer, it wants the real NULL.

On closer look that initialization is actually bogus, and the compiler
can easily see that we never use it unitialized. So let's just drop
this.

940aece471 drm/i915/vlv: Valleyview support for forcewake Individual power wells.
Split vlv force wake routines to help individually control Media/Render
well based on the register access.

We've seen power savings in the lower sub-1W range on workloads that
only need on of the power wells, e.g. glbenchmark, media playback

Note: The same split isn't there for the forcewake queue, only the
forcwake domains are split.
