916bb6d76d Merge branch 'core-locking-for-linus' of git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/tip/tip
Pull locking changes from Ingo Molnar:
"The most noticeable change are mutex speedups from Waiman Long, for
higher loads. These scalability changes should be most noticeable on
  larger server systems.

There are also cleanups, fixes and debuggability improvements."

* 'core-locking-for-linus' of git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/tip/tip:
lockdep: Consolidate bug messages into a single print_lockdep_off() function
lockdep: Print out additional debugging advice when we hit lockdep BUGs
mutex: Back out architecture specific check for negative mutex count
mutex: Queue mutex spinners with MCS lock to reduce cacheline contention
mutex: Make more scalable by doing less atomic operations
mutex: Move mutex spinning code from sched/core.c back to mutex.c
locking/rtmutex/tester: Set correct permissions on sysfs files
  lockdep: Remove unnecessary 'hlock_next' variable

to get rid of the special casing for the console device in the cio
layer. And the usual bunch of bug fixes."

Merge tag 'stable/for-linus-3.10-rc0-tag' of git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/konrad/xen

Pull Xen updates from Konrad Rzeszutek Wilk:
 "Features:
   - Populate the boot_params with EDD data.
   - Cleanups in the IRQ code.
  Bug-fixes:
   - CPU hotplug offline/online in PVHVM mode.
   - Re-upload processor PM data after ACPI S3 suspend/resume cycle."

And Konrad gets a gold star for sending the pull request early when he
thought he'd be away for the first week of the merge window (but because
of 3.9 dragging out to -rc8 he then re-sent the reminder on the first
day of the merge window anyway)

de4772c621 edac: sb_edac.c should not require prescence of IMC_DDRIO device
The Sandy Bridge EDAC driver uses a register in the IMC_DDRIO CSR
space to determine the type of DIMMs (registered or unregistered).
But this device does not exist on some single socket Sandy Bridge
servers. While the type of DIMMs is nice to know, it is not essential
for this driver's other functions. So it seems harsh to have it
refuse to load at all when it cannot find this device.

Make the check for this device be optional. If it isn't present
just report the memory type as "MEM_UNKNOWN".

02615ed5e1 [media] cx88: make core less verbose
Along the time, several debug messages were added at cx88-cards.
While those are still useful to track some troubles with
tuners, they're too verbose:

[ 5768.287388] cx88[0]: Calling XC2028/3028 callback

and, most of the time, useless.

So, disable them, except if core_debug modprobe parameter
is used.

This is caused by commit c7a45e5b4f,
that added support for two I2C buses. A partial fix was applied
at 3de09fbbfa, but it doesn't cover
all cases, as the DVB core fills fe->dvb->priv with adapter->priv.

78040b630f regulator: mc13892: Fix MC13892_SWITCHERS0_SWxHI bit in set_voltage_sel
It is necessary to clear MC13892_SWITCHERS0_SWxHI bit when set voltage to the
voltage range from 1100000 to 1375000. Leaving MC13892_SWITCHERS0_SWxHI bit
untouched may result in wrong voltage setting.

For example, currently switch voltage from 1400000 to 1300000 will set the
voltage to 1800000 because the HI bit is still set.

4cbbd1d55d ARM: arm-soc fixes for 3.9
A late-arriving fix for musb on OMAP4, resolving an issue where the musb
IP won't be clocked and thus not functional. Small in scope, most of the
lines changed is a longish comment.
