3fa2252b7a clk: Add set_rate_and_parent() op
Some of Qualcomm's clocks can change their parent and rate at the
same time with a single register write. Add support for this
hardware to the common clock framework by adding a new
set_rate_and_parent() op. When the clock framework determines
that both the parent and the rate are going to change during
clk_set_rate() it will call the .set_rate_and_parent() op if
available and fall back to calling .set_parent() followed by
.set_rate() otherwise.

d0d44dd4ac reset: Silence warning in reset-controller.h
If a user of <linux/reset-controller.h> doesn't include
<linux/of.h> before including reset-controller.h they'll get a
warning as follows:

  include/linux/reset-controller.h:44:17:

This is because of_phandle_args is not forward declared. Add the

7bf21bc81f clk: sirf: re-arch to make the codes support both prima2 and atlas6
sirfprima2 and sirfatlas6 are two different SoCs in CSR SiRF series. for
prima2 and atlas6, there are many shared clocks but there are still
some different register layout and hardware clocks, then result in
different clock table.

here we re-arch the driver to
1. clk-common.c provides common clocks for prima2 and atlas6,
2. clk-prima2.h describles registers of prima2 and clk-prima2.c provides
prima2 specific clocks and clock table.
3. clk-atlas6.h describles registers of atlas6 and clk-atlas6.c provides
atlas6 specific clocks and clock table.
4. clk.h and clk.c expose external interfaces and provide uniform entry
for both prima2 and atlas6.

so both prima2 and atlas6 will get support by drivers/clk/sirf.

3178f58b98 perf tools: Do proper comm override error handling
The comm overriding API ignores memory allocation failures by silently
keeping the previous and out of date comm.

As a result, the user may get buggy events without ever being notified
about the problem and its source.

Lets start to fix this by propagating the error from the API. Not all
callers may be doing proper error handling on comm set yet but this is
the first step toward it.

2e68c4e6ca dm cache: add policy name to status output
The cache's policy may have been established using the "default" alias,
which is currently the "mq" policy but the default policy may change in
the future. It is useful to know exactly which policy is being used.

Add a 'real' member to the dm_cache_policy_type structure and have the
"default" dm_cache_policy_type point to the real "mq"
dm_cache_policy_type. Update dm_cache_policy_get_name() to check if
real is set, if so report the name of the real policy (not the alias).

42ccd781bb of: Fix __of_device_is_available check
From IEEE 1275, there defined a standard 'status' property indicating the
operational status of one device. The 'status' property has four possible
values: 'okay/ok', 'disabled', 'fail' and 'fail-xxx'.

If it is absent, that means the status of the device is unknown or okay.

The __of_device_is_available checks the state of the 'status' property of
a device. If the property is absent or set to 'okay/ok', it returns 1.
Otherwise it returns 0.

While in __of_device_is_available:
 >	status = of_get_property(device, "status", &statlen);
 >	if (status == NULL)
 >		return 1;
The status value returned from 'of_get_property()' will be NULL in two cases:
Firstly: the 'device' value (device node) is NULL.
Secondly: the 'status' property is actaully not exist.

If the device node is NULL, the __of_device_is_available will return true,
that will mean the absent state of the 'status' property.

So this add the device node check before checking the 'status' property's
state, and if the device node is not exist, 0 will be returned.

eaad45132c sched: Fix __sched_setscheduler() nice test
With the introduction of sched_attr::sched_nice we need to check
if we've got permission to actually change the nice value.

Daniel found that can_nice() would always fail; and upon
inspection it turns out that can_nice() only tests to see if we
can lower the nice value, but it doesn't validate if we're
lowering or not.

Therefore amend the test to only call can_nice() when we lower
the nice value.

351291754d dt/bindings: remove device_type "network" references
device_type is deprecated and the kernel doesn't require it in most
cases. The only exceptions for flat tree users are the "gianfar",
"ucc_geth" and "ibm,emac" bindings, and arguably that requirement could
be relaxed for ucc_geth and ibm,emac (that is a task for separate
patches though).

This patch removes references to device_type="network" from the binding
documentation where possible and removes the properties from ARM and
microblaze dts files. This patch does not modify the powerpc .dts files
since there are a much larger number of them affected and I think the
ucc_geth, ibm,emac and gianfar users should be addressed before clearing
out the references to reduce the chance of breakage.

aadfb32bf6 dt/bindings: Remove references to linux,phandle properties
The linux,phandle property is essentially an internal structural element
of the DT data structure. The dtc toolchain takes care of maintaining it
at compile time. It does not need to appear as part of the binding
documentation. This patch removes it so that users don't think they need
to add a phandle property manually.

ecd75ad514 libata: disable LPM for some WD SATA-I devices
For some reason, some early WD drives spin up and down drives
erratically when the link is put into slumber mode which can reduce
the life expectancy of the device significantly. Unfortunately, we
don't have full list of devices and given the nature of the issue it'd
be better to err on the side of false positives than the other way
around. Let's disable LPM on all WD devices which match one of the
known problematic model prefixes and are SATA-I.

As horkage list doesn't support matching SATA capabilities, this is
implemented as two horkages - WD_BROKEN_LPM and NOLPM. The former is
set for the known prefixes and sets the latter if the matched device
is SATA-I.

Note that this isn't optimal as this disables all LPM operations and
partial link power state reportedly works fine on these; however, the
way LPM is implemented in libata makes it difficult to precisely map
libata LPM setting to specific link power state. Well, these devices
are already fairly outdated. Let's just disable whole LPM for now.

63b1a81699 futexes: Fix futex_hashsize initialization
"futexes: Increase hash table size for better performance"
introduces a new alloc_large_system_hash() call.

alloc_large_system_hash() however may allocate less memory than
requested, e.g. limited by MAX_ORDER.

Hence pass a pointer to alloc_large_system_hash() which will
contain the hash shift when the function returns. Afterwards
correctly set futex_hashsize.

Fixes a crash on s390 where the requested allocation size was
4MB but only 1MB was allocated.
