Since commit c7e963f (net/smsc911x: Add regulator support), the lan9220
device tree probe fails on imx53-ard board, because the commit makes
VDD33A and VDDVARIO supplies mandatory for the driver.
Add a fixed dummy 3V3 supplying lan9220 to fix the regression.

The imx5 common clock migration causes a regression with smsc911x
driver on imx53-ard board, where a smsc lan9220 controller gets
connected on imx53 with EIM interface. EIM needs clock emi_slow_gate
to be functional. In the new imx5 clock driver, there is no use count
incremented for the clock by enabling it, so the framework closes the
clock at late init time and makes EIM stop working then.
Enable emi_slow_gate in clock driver initialization to fix the
regression.

AR1111 is same as AR9485. The h/w
difference between them is quite insignificant,
Felix suggests only very few baseband features
may not be available in AR1111. The h/w code for
AR9485 is already present, so AR1111 should
work fine with the addition of its PID/VID.

If list_for_each_entry, etc complete a traversal of the
list, the iterator variable ends up pointing to an address
at an offset from the list head, and not a meaningful
structure. Thus this value should not be used after the end
of the iterator. Replace c->dev by dev, which is the value
that c->dev has been compared to.
This problem was found using Coccinelle (http://coccinelle.lip6.fr/).

Only want to process directories under the guestmnount directory that
have a pid as a name (ie, all digits). Other entries in the guestmount
directory should be ignored. There is already a check that requires the
first character of each entry to be a digit, but atoi is used to convert
the directory name to a pid. For example if guestmount contains a
directory with the name 1foo, atoi converts it to a pid of 1 and a
machine is created with a pid of 1. This is wrong; this directory really
should be ignored. Use strtol to do that.

A number of builtin commands process some user args and then pass the rest to
cmd_record. cmd_record then saves argc/argv that it receives into the header of
the perf data file. But this loses the arguments handled by the first command
-- ie., the real command line from the user. This patch saves the command line
as typed by the user rather than what was passed to cmd_record.
As an example consider the command:
$ perf kvm --guest --host --guestmount=/tmp/guest-mount record
-fo /tmp/perf.data -ag -- sleep 10
Currently the command saved to the header is:
cmdline : /tmp/p3.5/perf record -o perf.data.kvm -fo /tmp/perf.data -ag -- sleep 1
(ignore the duplicated -o -- the first would be yet another bug with perf-kvm).
With this patch the command line saved to the header is:
cmdline : /tmp/p3.5/perf kvm --guest --host --guestmount=/tmp/guest-mount
record -fo /tmp/perf.data -ag -- sleep 1

When period=1, the driver tries to allocate a bit bigger buffer than
requested by the user due to the irq latency tolerance. This may lead
to accesses over the actually allocated pages.
This patch adds a check of the page index and assigns the silent page
when it's over the given buffer size.

Directly comparing task_struct->personality against PER_* is not fully
correct, as it doesn't take flags potentially stored in top three bytes
into account.
Analogically, directly forcefully setting personality to PER_LINUX32 or
PER_LINUX discards any flags stored in the top three bytes.

We are overwriting the resource->name to "mc" so that musb_core.c
can understand it but this is also changing the platform device's
resource->name as the "name" address remains same.
Fixing the same by changing the resource->name field of local

Depending on layout and ARCH, ORE has some limits on max IO sizes
which is communicated on (what else) ore_layout->max_io_length,
which is always stripe aligned.
This was considered as the pg_test boundary for splitting and starting
a new IO.
But in the case of a long IO where the start offset is not aligned
what would happen is that both end of IO[N] and start of IO[N+1]
would be unaligned, causing each IO boundary parity unit to be
calculated and written twice.
So what we do in this patch is split the very start of an unaligned
IO, up to a stripe boundary, and then next IO's can continue fully
aligned til the end.
We might be sacrificing the case where the full unaligned IO would
fit within a single max_io_length, but the sacrifice is well worth
the elimination of double calculation and parity units IO.
Actually the sacrificing is marginal and is almost unmeasurable.
TODO:
If we know the total expected linear segment that will
be received, at pg_init, we could use that information
in many places:
1. blocks-layout get_layout write segment size
2. Better mds-threshold
3. In above situation for a better clean split

This helper is useful for any driver that wants to create

we have encountered a bug whereby reading a lot of files (copying
fedora's /bin) from a pNFS mount and hitting Ctrl+C in the middle caused
a general protection fault in xdr_shrink_bufhead. this function is
called when decoding the response from LAYOUTGET. the decoding is done
by a worker thread, and the caller of LAYOUTGET waits for the worker
thread to complete.
hitting Ctrl+C caused the synchronous wait to end and the next thing the
caller does is to free the pages, so when the worker thread calls
xdr_shrink_bufhead, the pages are gone. therefore, the cleanup of these
pages has been moved to nfs4_layoutget_release.

Pull OLPC platform updates from Andres Salomon:
"These move the OLPC Embedded Controller driver out of
arch/x86/platform and into drivers/platform/olpc.
OLPC machines are now ARM-based (which means lots of x86 and ARM
changes), but are typically pretty self-contained.. so it makes more
sense to go through a separate OLPC tree after getting the appropriate
review/ACKs."
